Trompe L'Oeil Stencilling and Block Printing- -(Five-day workshop) With copy right free designs (no drawing stills necessary) learn to create extraordinary effects that make illusions appear as reality with Trompe L'oeil stencilling! You will learn ground preparation, design layout, cutting and painting techniques that make your stencils appear hand painted. The major emphasis will be on illusionistic stencilling, with some time spent on creating your own French Block designs with the use of copy free photocopied designs or your own work. These methods can be used in conjunction with murals as well as Architectural Ornamentation and plasterwork!

"TROMPE L'OEIL ILLUSIONS - This Five-Day workshop has been developed for students wishing to expand their portfolios. Basic perspective for windows, doors, arches, stairs etc. will be covered. Painting techniques will include skies, trees, grass, glass-windows, filmy curtains, water-drops and more. You will learn many "tricks-of -the-trade" and step by step processes. You do not need to be an artist to participate in this class, but your results will be artistic. A variety of painting and glazing techniques will be covered in a concise manner.

Old world finishes- IIn this Five day class you will create the soft worn look of the past with both ancient and modern products. Old world plasters, new world acrylic pastes, dry pigments, chalk, ancient wax recipes for encaustic painted decoration , garlands, limestone, patinas, strippable plasters. These finishes are reminiscent of Venice and Provence.
