WALL GLAZING LEVEL I - WORKSHOP - This workshop focuses on the elements required to obtain a professional paint finish. Surface preparation, the magic of "broken colour", how to obtain its illusive qualities with paints and glazes, and the mastering of various tools will be covered. Each student will learn to create the illusion of space, movement and depth required in the beautiful parchment, fresco, silk, suede, and multi-layered finishes. Students will execute a complex finish in an actual room setting as well as completing a set of eight sample boards for their portfolio.

WALL GLAZING II workshop - Trompe L'Oeil Stone Blocking, soft amorphous clouds floating across a sky or wall; crackle finishes; painted verdigris; textural finishes using unusual tools and techniques will be covered. This is an extremely creative class with an exciting collection of samples for your portfolio.
